This shirt was made to  commemorate the success of the Liverpool team in the season before with the league and cup win. For some reason Liverpool seem to be more successful when they have had a yellow kit so I think they should have one every year myself.

This shirt was famously worn against Manchester United at Old Trafford. When Liverpool went 1-0 down thanks to a penalty from Ronaldo no one would expect what would happen in the rest of the game. Liverpool managed to dominate the game and score 4 times to win the game 4-1 with Gerrard, Torres, Aurelio and Dossena scoring (Yes, Dossena scored)
