Mali Away 1999

Flag of Mali

First international: Mali 4-3 Central African Republic (1960)

Biggest win: Mali 11-0 Mauritania (1972)

Biggest loss: Kuwait 8-1 Mali (1997)

Most capped: Seydou Keita (73 caps)

Ahh I bring you the shirt of Mali now. Mali is probably my favourite footballing country and I will now tell you why. Before Frederic Kanoute announced his desire to play for Mali I had never heard of them but then once he did I did a bit of research on them and found out they had quite a few decent players. Although now Kanoute has retired from international football if I am correct. I have then been Mali on pretty much every Football Manager game and they were my favourite team to be on the FIFA World Cup game 2010. Soumaila Coulibaly had a rocket of a shot for them on it so if you still own it, go be Mali and play him and you'll see what I mean. Also one of Liverpool's worst players at the time is a national for the side. That player is Djimi Traore but I liked him for how bad he was at times but then he'd go and do something brilliant. Momo Sissoko who was at Liverpool for a few seasons also is from Mali and they have players like Seydou Keita of Barcelona and Mahamadou Diarra who is now at Fulham. So yeah a pretty decent squad overall. I'd suggest people to be them on Football Manager to if you have them.

As you can see from this write up, I quite like Mali but still would really like to own one of the Airness brand national shirts that they now use. Or an older version Airness to. If anyone knows of how to get one then please do get in touch.

Ecuador Home 2000

First international:  Ecuador 1-1 Bolivia (1938)

Biggest win: Ecuador 6-0 Peru (1975)

Biggest loss: Argentina 12-0 Ecuador (1942)

Most capped: Ivan Hurtado (167 caps)

Top scorer: Augustin Delgado (37 goals)

Ecuador! Probably one of Sash's best ever songs was about the country Ecuador. Not sure what the actual lyrics were as it wasn't in English but everyone should know the tune and if you don't, Youtube it. Ecuador were knocked out of the 2006 World Cup by England and are a pretty average South American side really. Would be better if their national anthem was Sash's Ecuador though.

Evian Thonon Gaillard 3rd 2011-2012

As you can see from my second Evian shirt, I quite like them. This shirt reminds me of these lollies called Drumsticks as the pattern of this shirt was like the one of a Drumstick lolly. Although recently I just found out Christian Poulsen has been released by this club. It is probably the best ever move they have made but Poulsen signing for this club actually alerted me to them and I then found out how amazing their shirts were.

Latvia Home 2006

Flag of Latvia

First international: Latvia 1-1 Estonia (1922)

Biggest win: Latvia 9-0 Estonia (1942)

Biggest loss: Sweden 12-0 Latvia (1927)

Most capped: Vitalijs Astafjevs (167 caps)

Top scorer: Maris Verpakovskis (28 goals)

Star player: Artjoms Rudnevs (Hamburg)

Most people would see Latvia as one of the lesser teams in Europe. But in 2004 they managed to qualify for the European Championship which was a surprise to everyone. They did not manage to get out the group but played well and did not disgrace themselves. This shirt has a weirdly designed collar though for some reason but is a nice feeling shirt when worn

This shirt was quite cheap and I didn't think many people would have Darius Vassell on the back of an England kit. So being a bit random I decided to buy it.
