Turkey Away 2008

Flag of Turkey

First international: Turkey 2-2 Romania (1923)

Biggest win: Turkey 7-0 Syria (1949)

Biggest loss: England 8-0 Turkey (1987)

Most capped: Rustu Recber (120 caps)

Top scorer: Hakan Sukur (51 goals)

Star player: Arda Turan (Atletico Madrid)

This in my opinion is the best Turkey shirt that they have had. It is a bit strange though as Turkey often never wore light blue on a kit but it goes very well with this shirt. In Euro 2008 Turkey managed to get through to the semi finals but only lead for about 5 minutes in the whole tournament with a lot of late goals scored. Did you know Turkey have never scored a goal against England in 8 matches?

Chile Home 2010

Flag of Chile

First international: Argentina 3-1 Chile (1910)

Biggest win: Chile 7-0 Armenia (1997)

Biggest loss: Brazil 7-0 Chile (1959)

Most capped: Leonel Sanchez (84 caps)

Top scorer: Marcelo Salas (37 goals)

Star player: Alexis Sanchez (Barcelona FC)

This is the home kit for the nation of Chile. It is made by the sports brand Brooks who are relatively unknown to most people I should imagine. Chile have featured in 8 world cups and have finished a highest position of 3rd which was in their home country in 1962. Their highest FIFA ranking was 6th in the late 80's.

Senegal Home 2002

Flag of Senegal

First international: Benin 4-3 Senegal (1961)

Biggest win: Senegal 7-0 Mauritius (2010)

Biggest loss: Zambia 4-0 Senegal (1993)

Most capped: Henri Camara (99 caps)

Top scorer: Henri Camara (29 goals)

Star player: Papiss Cisse (Newcastle FC)

This shirt was the one that Senegal wore when they beat France in the 2002 World Cup and surprisingly made it through the group stages. No one gave them a chance but they infact played very well and quite a lot of the Senegalese players were scouted for top clubs including the likes of Salif Diao and El Hadji Diouf who signed contracts for Liverpool. Senegal recently have not been much of a force though after going out of the last African Cup of Nations in the group stages although they do currently have a great strike force in Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse who represent Newcastle at club level. Senegal will also be in the upcoming Olympics and will be in Great Britain's group so look out for them.

Cameroon Home 1992

                                                       Flag of Cameroon

First international: Cameroon 9-2 Djibouti (1960)

Biggest win: Cameroon 9-2 Djibouti (1960)

Biggest loss: Norway 6-1 Cameroon (1990)

Most capped: Rigobert Song (137 caps)

Top scorer: Samuel Eto'o (53 goals)

Star player: Alex Song (Barcelona FC)

This wonderfully designed shirt comes from the brand Mitre. Mitre are usually famous for making good quality footballs but have made the odd shirt over the years. This shirt resembles the flag of Cameroon and I am glad to add it to my collection of shirts as one of the unique designs I have.

Cameroon have qualified for the World Cup 6 times and have 4 AFCON titles making them the most successful African country in football. They were also the first African side to reach a World Cup quarter final before losing to England in extra time.

Liverpool Away 2012-2013

The new Liverpool away kit made by Warrior. The design was supposedly based on one of the old Liverpool kits from the early 1900's. The shirt when worn feels very nice and even though there was a few criticisms of it, I actually really like it. Another top class kit from Warrior and now it is time to wait and see what the 3rd kit will be like.
