Namibia Home 2012

Namibia kit on release day.

Flag of Namibia

First international: Namibia 0-1 Angola (1989)

Biggest win: Namibia 8-2 Benin (2000)

Biggest loss: Egypt 8-2 Namibia (2001)

Star player: Colin Benjamin (1860 Munchen)

You can't really see the detail on this shirt from the picture but it is a very nice design for a shirt. Unfortunately Namibia aren't very good of a team so you probably won't see it featuring much on the television screens.

You can see the shirt being worn by Jason McAteer in the background behind David James.

This shirt was famously worn in a match against Arsenal at Highbury where Robbie Fowler dived over David Seaman and was awarded a penalty. Sportingly afterwards he pleaded to the referee not to give him a penalty as he dived but it was given anyway. Fowler missed the spot kick but the follow up was turned in.

Craig Bellamy doing his famous golf swing pose after scoring against Barcelona

This shirt is probably most famous for being worn when Liverpool beat Barcelona 2-1 in the Nou Camp thanks to goals from Craig Bellamy and John Arne Riise. Their was uproar before the game as supposedly Craig Bellamy had hit John Arne Riise with a golf club in a fit of rage which created Bellamy to do this after scoring. Liverpool lost the second leg 1-0 but went through on away goals.

Liverpool Away 2002-2003

Ian Rush in action against Southampton

This shirt was made to  commemorate the success of the Liverpool team in the season before with the league and cup win. For some reason Liverpool seem to be more successful when they have had a yellow kit so I think they should have one every year myself.
