Well this is probably the craziest design kit I have. I saw it on ebay and just had to buy it even if I do not know much about the German team VFL Bochum. They did have Turkish legend Yildiray Basturk at the time this shirt was used but have never been a big force in German football. I don't think I have ever seen a rainbow design on a shirt before though so I just had to grab it off ebay when I had the chance.

ReplyDeleteA local lottery company sponsored them so the rainbow colours of the company were used on the shirts. They even took on the role of kit manufacturer so that they bypassed the sponsor logo rules. The goalkeeper's shirt had little round rainbows dotted all over it.
